Everyone says that but lack of cultural impact doesn't mean it was a bad movie? It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either.
Hence why it's overrated. It was a mediocre movie but they kept teasing sequels and theme parks for years for what I feel was a fairly forgettable film.

basically every horror movie ever - the whole reason i hate 99% of horror films is because they reuse the same few plots or ideas. a horror movie isn't good just bc it has gore and jumpscares; if anything, those make a film worse since they're there most of the time just because they can be, not because it adds anything to the story.

Marvel films, Titanic and The Fast and The Furious. It seems that the vast majority of the highest grossing films are the most superficial/clichƩ possible.

Ok, I'll bite. What movies do you consider good? Or do you not like movies in general?
Daniel Craig as Bond

Except Casino Royale.
