Help Minimising trauma for a sibling

Hello!! I'm considering to decide on a date and finally do it (still in the process of deciding, if next treatment won't help, I'm just ending it) but I'm wary of hurting my little sibling, – even if I won't do it this time, I still need to be prepared. They are 14, and I see myself in them – I really don't want to hurt them by offing myself, but I feel like I'm nearing my limit for life. My method will most likely be SN, if it matters.

Before I start planning anything, I want to make sure I did everything I can to minimise harm to them.

Obviously, I won't do it at home or anywhere near, and I will do everything possible so they are not the one who will find my body. I don't care about letting other people finding me (I'm sorry, I just don't), my main focus is them and them only.

Any advice?

Please let them know that it's not their fault and that they didn't hurt you. It's hell to not know

id probably say to tell them how important they were to your life and how truly they didnt hurt you or that it wasnt their fault, simply to letting them know that tbh, idk if a reason why you are doing this would give them a sense of resolution but id give the biggest emphasis on letting them know its not their fault and that they didnt hurt you

I agree with the others. Just make sure you write a note to them explaining how much they meant to you and that they didn't do anything wrong. One of the regrets people have after someone kills themselves is that they think they should've noticed or helped the suicidal person in some way. If they didn't notice, just tell them it's not their fault at all. Maybe try to write something that attempts to explain why you did it; it can also help you get a sense of closure.

I'm struggling with telling my younger sister. We're three years apart and growing up we were so close. But as we've gotten older our relationship has deteriorated to almost nothing.

It's totally my fault (I isolate and push people away), but I can't act like she hasn't hurt me tremendously. She's getting married in July and I thought I would be part of the bachelorette party and the hiking excursion. I got snaps during the event that's how I found out they were happening. It still hurts me. And I don't know how to get over the fact that we're basically only staying in touch out of familial obligation.

I go back and forth about leaving her a note. On my really depressed days I honestly don't think she would notice my absence.
