• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would not kill myself if I suddenly came into a lot of money. I don't believe money can buy happiness, but I like a quote from Camus where he says, 'It is a kind of spiritual snobbery that makes people think they can be happy without money,'

I'll always be mentally ill; no amount of money can correct that. But I can manage being ill if I have a safe place to call home and the means to feed and clothes myself.

I'm a few months from being completely insolvent and living on the street. That is not good for anyone, but for someone with my mental health profile and age, it's a condemnation to a nightmarish existence.

I choose not to live in that nightmare and find relief in the knowledge I won't have to contend with all the crap, but I'm not romanticizing my decision nor looking forward to it. It's simply the only reasonable option available to me.

I fell victim to this and how accurate it is. Made me laugh out loud at my own fool ways

Mental illness really robs you of life and happiness: career, money, family, friends, fun, etc - all gone. It's part of my reason too on top of the malignant depression and anhedonia.

How are things going for you now?
Having mental illness and being thrown on the streets really is a whole different level of hell. The exhausting anticipation of which I unfortunately can relate to.
