This all sounds like a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors to me. Until proven otherwise, I'll consider A and the N he supplies to be uncompromised.

Regarding trusting members, I would be weary trusting members with a short posting history. Anyone can register an account, and become who they want to be.

No matter what ends up being the truth, everyone should take their own precautions. Use TOR, encryption, protonmail and hide the N where no one will think about looking.

In most cases if you get caught nothing will come of it. In a western country, the most you'll get is a small fine and your precious N confiscated.

To me it's worth the risk.

Barbiturates are controlled substances.
Acquisition and attempted acquisition of narcotics could be enough for a search warrant.
In my country there are enough cases about darknet-buyers who bought controlled substances, had search warrant and confiscation of computer and smartphone. And if you had something in your criminal record it would be more likely to get a search warrant.
But for Barbiturates like N they need to test it before. Often, preliminary investigations are initiated because a package is intercepted by authorities.
Btw western states are getting more and more into authoritarian police states.

Edit: But if they did not find anything because of search warrant and electronic devices are encrypted accusation would be cancelled. In my country sometimes you can get problems with driver's license after such things. Even if they did not find anything at home. They could take it and send me to doc to test my blood.

I don't know much, as they are in a mental hospital. But apparently they went to their place today and seized it. Apparently the FBI is alerting other countries. Just make sure nobody finds your stuff if you have N. I would not write this message if I didn't know that person for one year.
