An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. Ive also attached an article on how Canada post works and why cops cant seize anything in the system:
Police say criminals exploit an antiquated legal quirk that bars them from searching packages sent through Canada Post, a limitation that doesn't exist for private courier services such as FedEx and UPS. Even the Canadian Civil Liberties Association agrees it's time to close the loophole. But Canada Post says everything is fine; the Liberal government has so far refused to act. Why the inaction, given the consensus of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and even privacy activists? Nobody's quite sure.
Then they have examples of how police cannot get a warrant to sieze because of this law.
You'd think this would have happened in the US first where it came through on its way. Why not sieze there considering all law enforcement is aware? It runs through usps before it hits canada post where they cant do a thing.
Ok I've pretty much fully come round to the idea that lifeisnotfun is a crazy person trying to encourage others to ctb. The way they were writing in that thread was very strange with all the "Ugh!" and the fact that they showed up to the thread immediately and then an hour later are the only other person on here getting a visit from the cops is too sketchy.
My only remaining question is about the statement Exit put out. I do think it's possible that customs is cracking down (especially in Australia where this site is literally banned) after they intercept the packages and sending cops to do "welfare checks." That doesn't seem far fetched at all but I am almost certain there's no problems with the courier.

At this point i've already given about 10 reaaons this was never possible in Canada to begin with, plus a screenshot from A saying his courier is fine and it's contradictory reports.

Yeah that's basically my only concern too. The thing is I have never tried to apply to join exit so I don't know just how thorough they are in screening people...but if their members did in fact report being visited by cops it seems like it would be because their N was discovered at customs, not because of a courier issue. I don't fully know what to make of the timing though. I really do highly doubt A or his courier are compromised at this time though (and I'm as paranoid and gullible as they come) even if it's the case that customs in certain countries are getting cops involved when they find N.

I am personally convinced that this is a planned deception by pro-lifers. Like trolling. Maybe they are came here from facebook, reddit or from some news site. They have registered here for this purpose. Why do I think so? The police can't just get a search warrant (as far as I know) just because your name and address were on some list. The list with names means nothing. In most countries, some compelling reasons are needed - they could get a search warrant if they delayed the parcel at customs. She also mentioned that the police told her about SN method - it was nonsense, she made a mistake.

Yes the Australia story is real. N has been seized there before. UPDATE: The Australian guy has been in the chat and clarified that he got involuntary hold in the psych ward for N specifically, given his past record of mental health and employment issues.
He may be charged for growing marijuana in his house as well but that is a different topic entirely.
So any Aussies should be really careful. From what I know this site is also banned there and you can only visit it by proxy/tor/vpn, their government is aware of the existence of sites like this one and have a definite anti-suicide stance.

From what I know, they ask for a copy of an official ID to prove you're over 50 y old. I don't know how they make sure you"re not just using a fake ID though..

Its no one in the law- they knew nothing about the law surrounding mail seizures here.
It was not someone camadian - they didn't know shit about this place. User one was in ontario and user two in Vancouver. The whole the cops went to catch someone after me is bull. both those places are on the opposite ends of canada, (buy a map lifeisnofun)

This site got way too much attention recently, and what we are dealing with now are the consequences of that attention.
Pro-lifers, trolls, vengeful people, sociopathic people... We're basically going to get it all (and we have been).
Mental health communities are prime targets for people looking to instigate problems online. Some of them have agendas. Others just do it for enjoyment.
Think of it... If you're a troll looking to have some "fun", what's the more appealing target? An astrology forum? A gardening forum? A technical support forum? Or a mental health forum? I know which one I'd go with. Also, the "long con" is a thing. Never underestimate the lengths some people will go to in this.

Now they say they have proof this is true and are inviting me to a chat outside of here.

This all sounds like a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors to me. Until proven otherwise, I'll consider A and the N he supplies to be uncompromised.
Regarding trusting members, I would be weary trusting members with a short posting history. Anyone can register an account, and become who they want to be.
No matter what ends up being the truth, everyone should take their own precautions. Use TOR, encryption, protonmail and hide the N where no one will think about looking.
In most cases if you get caught nothing will come of it. In a western country, the most you'll get is a small fine and your precious N confiscated.
To me it's worth the risk.

Someone I know for one year got put into a mental hospital and taken their N away. We might all be compromised, I am hiding my shit right now, you people should do the same. Not only the people who ordered last month but maybe even everyone who ever ordered might be compromised. Again, this is speculation but it seems to be true and you shouldn't take any chances.
