Making suicide matter

I want to make my death matter. I'm not looking to make family feel guilty or make it matter in any sense like that, but rather, I think suicide, killing oneself is such a huge thing, I want to use it as an opportunity to do something with it, something that matters, something big.

Life matters, so ending my life matters. What do I do with my death? How do I not squander it? Suicide is a resource to be used well. What to do with it?

Get a huge life insurance policy, wait 3 years (check your State laws for specifics), and make a Will donating the money to the charity of your choice. Or to a person who actually loves life and will make good use of the money.

The truth is that most individual lives are pretty worthless, and so are our deaths...

Not a bad idea for life insurance. I tried about 15yrs ago, but was denied due to an upcoming surgery. Given my age and health, it would be tough.

Deafsn0w, killing X is fine to discuss if X = me. If X = not-me, then I think mods won't be happy. Nevertheless, I see your suggestion as an option. The challenge is, is there an even better option?
