There's been plenty of studies on the wonders it can do for your mind and health. A women with Alzheimer's dementia was sick she would involuntarily use restroom and could only speak in single words. She was given a dose of five grams and after ninteen hours was able to do things she could not before. So my thought is my brains been ravaged by drugs and tbi. I suffer from schizophrenia but really could just be brain damage my mom says I have social phobia shes an idiot though. So thoughts though are can low doses of psilocybin repair brain enough? and help depression anxiety like a lot of people on here suffer from? Please give your thoughts

My experience with mushrooms is from a long time ago. I do not think that they could "repair" damage, but perhaps in small doses reduce anxiety. There might be more effective things to try in the realm of supplements. There is a Youtube guy petersmithuk that has some videos that address some things one might experiment with.

If you are really schizophrenic it can really be bad. Have you researched what shrooms can do with disorders like that? The basics is that it can cause psychosis and make your symptoms a lot worse. You could be hospitalized with how bad it can get.

I've tried it three times since my diagnosis. It's been mostly helpful but yeah I'd rather not risk it anymore. Thanks for the input

I have a tbi and major depression/ptsd and did a high dose of mushrooms a month ago. I had a bad trip and it made me more depressed the weeks after but I know it helps some people. I was dissapointed psilocybin was my last hope. Stay away from them if you have schizo. It will trigger psychosis
