I was badly sick from 18 years old and I was already feeling it to a degree before then, so I'll never know what it's like to be healthy in this life, and I find that really sad. The way this autoimmune-like illness and lifelong brain issues plus anhedonia have worn me down over the years is difficult to put into words. It's kind of like the symptoms have such a drastic impact on your life that you identify with the illness because you're constantly dealing with various symptoms every day for years. I can't believe this is my life.
