I will certainly drink this Sat in spite of my terrible down last Sunday/Monday. I just won't take my meds those days!

There are people from many countries here so the time, the clock is not the same for us all. When I start to drink here in Sweden, some of you have not started yet and when some of you start drinking, I will go to bed. It does not fit in time for us all. Absolute is certainly amazing!
As for the drinking time, I've found a solution. I just drink kinda early here in Argentina (6pm) because the forum and general chat are quite active during those hours and I see most of the people I know around because there are many who are from Europe!

I bought a bottle of scotch about 3 years ago and on some saturday nights I stare at it, but I never feel like drinking. Turns out I only drink socially because it makes informal gatherings more bearable, so now that covid killed all that, I haven't drunk a drop in more than a year. I'm in a very similar situation. I want to stop, but I can't. Sometimes I feel so sick to the point of vomiting and I still drink even though my stomach refuses it. I'm also out of money. I spend way too much money on vodka. But that feeling when you get drunk, those few anxiety-free hours of relaxation are so good when you're stressed 24/7. It lets your brain to rest.

My favorite is Finlandia vodka. It's so smooth and gentle compared to every other vodka I've tried.

For me it is the only thing that makes me feel good (not actually good, it just takes the edge off the depression), so I don't want to stop. But I understand why someone would want to stop.
I usually drink either white wine or rum and I always start drinking quite early. If anyone has suggestions for a nice rum I'd be glad to hear them.

Oh guys/girls, what a great night I had yesterday.
Today, the hangover was quite annoying at first but I started feeling good after a few hours.

I just wanna thank you all those who talked to me last night. It was awesome. I regret nothing.

Now, it's time to have a hard-working week again and do my best to have my reward (booze) this Saturday too.
