Help Legality of Ordering SN in the United States from DMC

Hello everyone. I've already asked this question before but I am extremely worried so I am asking again:

Will there be any problems if I order SN from DMC directly to my house? I live in the United States. i want to make sure this is legal and that I won't be causing problems for my family, who also lives in this house.

open to being corrected but I think only cali has passed anything around sn as it stands right now.

Prohibits the sale of sodium nitrate and sodium nitrite to any person under the age of twenty-one.

"Section 1 creates a new section of the General Business Law to prohibit the sale of sodium nitrate or sodium nitrite to individuals under the age of 2, requires businesses to check ID for the sale of sodium nitrate or sodium nitrite, and creates a fine of up to $250 for a first offense or $500 for subsequent offenses."

Nowhere in here does it say that it is illegal to buy (or use) it in New York. What is illegal is for businesses to sell it to anyone who is under 21. They are thus required to request proof of legal age.

It appears to be the same for California.

It seems that at least one state (Illinois) is considering legislation that would ostensibly make using it for an attempt illegal.
