There's this case report that says "The estimated lethal dose of sodium nitrite in adults is approximately 2.6 g; however, a case of a patient surviving after ingesting 6 g sodium nitrite has been reported.", but the problem is that we don't really know how fast does it work and how bad does it feel. The usual thing that you find on this forum is 20/25g of SN and strong antiemetics, and it seems "safe". I really have no idea if 10-15g of SN with otc meds will be "comfortable".
