Awful dilemma

Is it sad that, in those rare and extreme circumstances where I've contemplated CTB, my dog was the biggest reason I wouldn't go through with it??

I can relate. I have two cats that I just adore and I can't bear the thought of leaving them behind, wondering where I went.

My dog and I spend all but maybe an hour each week together. I presume she will die before me but if not, I want her to be euthanized. I am glad when my dogs die before me. I used to be and still an somewhat no kill for cats and dogs, but there are many things worse than a painless death. I am sorry she is so attached but it has been a good life to date.
