Venting Leaving Behind

My cat, I adopted her almost a year ago (in December) How do you get over leaving behind ? When I'm away the only one I think about is her, wanting to know she's okay or not wanting to be away long. But I'm tired, I feel like someone else could take better care of her. Make sure she's okay . When I think about ctb , I think about ways I could make sure she's okay. Texting my family , creating a fake story to where they think they're picking me up the next day , but in reality I'm dead inside my apartment and just didn't want her to be left alone and not cared for.

This or taking her back to the adoption center . Idk, I just want her to be okay
