In honour of the hurt, hurting, and those at peace, I would like to apologize for those who have been tortured by others, having their mind broken, their will to live taken, the light shut out, and their hand forced to the only option available. I am so sorry for what you all have gone and going through. It is sad and unfortunate for the talented and beautiful souls here to have been put in their situation from a simple roll of the dice, and I wish you all have peace one day, whether it be here on Earth, or elsewhere, wherever it may be.

From what I was reading this morning from the LA Times is that the court handling this situation had leaked her name plus behind closed doors hearing about the DNA evidence. It made (with all respect to not disclose her name) Jane Doe lose faith in the judicial system; in addition to insulting her as "substantial evidence showed" she had sex after the rape.

keep in mind, a person and his daughter, along with a husband, wife and another child died in the same crash. two famillies were ripped apart.

the purpose of the thread was to recognize those who have passed away on a sad day where it may seem like only one person is getting the spotlight and to hope and honour everyone including those that have passed from here, despite knowing or not knowing who they were as people and what they may have done.

the purpose has been affected by arguing if a person should deserve to be empathized or not because of their allegations that occured 17 years ago. closing this thread to prevent any further derailing and to keep intact the purpose of the thread.
