Thanks for the suggestions. I'm curious about the term "damage", if there's any precedents, as far as I've read SN failed attempts have no long-term effects, but maybe this is all part of that false sense of safety I felt and that I think we should address as a community.

By damage i didn't mean longterm damage, not that it's out of the picture, i meant the damage the sn is currently doing to your body. Also just FYI, any suicide method that leads to dying is literally damaging the body till you eventually die. There is really no "safe" poison contrary to what some claim.

keep monitoring symptoms and as rozeske said, you can always go to the hospital and say you ate a lot of cured meat, and then started to feel a little dizzy, some difficulty breathing, had a fast heart rate for a while and still feeling nauseous.

it is still working its way through your intestines/digestive system, so important to keep monitoring your symptoms.

UPDATE: Ok, after that last round of vomiting I was finally able to sleep calmly. Woke up without any symptoms, I feel a bit shaken because of the vomiting and the stress, but I don't feel dizzy or anything. I'm eating an apple and drinking some hydrating electrolyte drink. Jamaica flower flavor. I MUST EMPHASIZE ON THE FACT I TOOK A RIDICULOUSLY LOW AMOUNT OF SN AND EVEN THAT HAD AN IMMEDIATE AND PRONOUNCED EFFECT.

We all know ourselves why we're in this site and nobody can judge. The purpose of this safe haven is to share information and experiences so others will avoid making mistakes that could be easily avoided. This is one such mistake based on the false impression that "a little" SN doesn't kill you. LESS SN DOESN'T MEAN LESS LETHALITY, IT'S LETHAL IN ANY DOSE. IT'LL ONLY MAKE FOR AN UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE, SPECIALLY WITHOUT FOLLOWING PROPER PROTOCOL

Emotionally I feel...well, honestly, a bit fucked. I feel a bit less sure about SN as a method, but it's the best one I have available. It has made me question myself though I still feel trapped and emotionally broken without really any will to keep going for anything more than a couple of months. I just feel...pathetic. Gotta respect those who ctb using this without benzos, I can only imagine now the tremendous amount of courage it requires. I will not do this without benzos and I don't have access to them just yet so...fuck, I really wish I had a gun. Things would've been over already.

Special thanks to @fallingtopieces, @needthebus @gothbird and everyone else who gave me advice and kept me company while I got through this scare and I apologize if I worried anyone, truly wasn't the intention. Sadly, I didn't see her in my dreams...not that it was the main intention. I just miss her so much and I can't believe life's like this.

I do think we should have a sticky advising strongly against attempts or trial runs using SN, threads like mine pop every now and then and I think we can all agree that we should be clear about the risks in the name of information and autonomy.

Yes, people who want to do a trial run should use plain salt as opposed to actual SN.

Thank you. For some reason I'm capable of keeping my cool when it's a life-death sort of scenario and, again, I took a VERY small amount. Someone more anxious would've ended in the ER, worrying their entire family and making it harder for them to ctb later on. Someone who ingests a larger amount (but still under the 25g recommended for suicide) will most likely die or get dangerously close to, but not in a remotely comfortable or speedy way.

I don't personally know any mods so I can't tag them, but I insist: just like there's a sticky for non-methods, and with the popularity of SN, I think we need a sticky for this. We already know what happens, we can more than confidently tell people how it tastes/feels/etc., nothing new or remotely positive will come out of someone attempting/testing SN.

Last update on the matter.

Today I've felt fine. No symptoms and I haven't felt the need to vomit. I'm lucky I didn't underestimate SN more than I did and that people here recommended me to stay awake and vigilant. Thanks to everyone who reached out and cared, this community is just amazing.

Thank you for reading and for your empathy. I think SF is a safe bet with the proper protocol and accompanying drugs, but winging it for an attempt or just a trial run is DEFINITELY a bad idea.

It was interesting nevertheless to read about the effects of non lethal low-dose.

The weird thing about this is that if you won't die, you will be okay. So it's impossible to say for sure how far away dying is.

I wonder if it is like a chain reaction that if the dose goes above certain threshold then it will cause a fatal chain reaction? But if it is below it, the chain reaction will not start and the effects are mild.
