Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Around a year ago I broke a bone in my elbow and had to get a surgery and metal pins inserted in my elbow. While it was pretty bad, it was nowhere near as horrible pins getting removed today. It was probably 15-20 minutes max, but felt like an eternal suffering.
I didn't get general anesthesia and only went for local numbing for lesser stress on the entire body and higher chances of getting home this day. At the end I probably don't regret it, but it was easily one of the worst, if not the worst tortures I've ever experienced. It wasn't necessarily extremely painful, but extremely uncomfortable and horrifying (and also painful at times).
Whenever the pin, or spring bounced against my arm or slipped off (or at least this is what I think happened, don't care and don't want to know what that actually was) it felt like my bones were being broken and pulled out of my arm. And sometimes even with novocaine injected it hurt like motherfucker in the bones. Also by the time all pins were out, novocaine wore off and I felt every stich being made on my elbow. While I usually don't mind pain that much, after all of that stress it was really hard to endure. I went to all sorts of crazy mental gymnastics trying to distract myself, but it barely helped.
Thankfully now I'm home, resting and trying not to get ptsd from that. Arm still hurts, but it's pretty manageable.
On the bright side, I promised myself finishing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice if I manage to endure it. I guess no more excuses to stall with fighting The Owl and bosses after him
