Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If I were to jump off of the tallest bridge in my state (it is 239 ft tall) & land in the river below, how painful do you think it would be? would there be any chance for survival?

It is technically a part of a busy highway, so I'm thinking I should drive there in the middle of the night, pull off the side of the road, walk to desired point, & jump. I don't know if it would be better to land in the water or not.

This particular bridge has had previous successful suicides… the only thing keeping me is that when my body is inevitably found, I don't want my family to have to identify my body. i know someone close to me has had to do that before with someone who has committed suicide and she gets ptsd from it every day. She can't even look at a tree without thinking of her step dad hanging from it.

I don't want to do that to my family, im thinking if I just leave a note and all of my information in my car, hopefully that will be enough.. I don't know. Any input would be greatly appreciated, though. I hope you all have had an ok day and thank you for your time.

Definitely avoid jumping into the water if you can. 239 ft is just about tall enough for a fairly certain quick death if you hit something solid. But water might pose issues.

I don't know about body identification requirements, maybe someone else can chime in.

Are you sure you have to CTB? Sometimes it's easier just to give recovery another try

I think someone always has to positively identify the body. I think they sometimes just do it with photographs now.

There is always a chance for survival in any CTB method. There's no 100% anything on this planet. Odds are better you will die than survive, but strange things do happen. Good luck in your decision, whatever it is. Just make the best one for you, and ONLY you.

Jumping toward water from the height will be fatal. You'll have no chance whatsoever to survive. If you do survive, however, you're likely to end up drowning in the following moments unless there's someone there to fish you from the water.

jumping from 150 feet (46 metres) or higher on land, and 250 feet (76 metres) or more on water, is 95% to 98% fatal.

I'm jumping off a bridge as well. I don't know how deep the fall is (not very high), but the water is deep enough for me to drown in.

I plan on going off backwards in an effort to help with SI.

But you can't control what happens after you die.

You have to decide which is more important: dying OR who identifies your body.

I think a lot of times we subconsciously create obstacles to ctb.

It's SI manifesting itself in a different form.

We tell ourselves we can't ctb unless A, B, C, & D occurs, while knowing full well they can't all happen.
