So ya we all knew what bridge this person was talking about but they clearly stated they didn't want to say it due to privacy concerns. Maybe just respect that next time
I kept bridge under wraps. If he goes off at night, he succeeds. There is no stopping that fact. Since bridge is known now, I can give more info. I would rather a person recover but I know it is sometimes not an option. I will give all info needed on this bridge and the SN method. I have begun to see more SN victims by their own choice. They deliberately ingested. Took me a few to figure out the game, but I know it now. Same news will be across country as more see this method in hospital. Do not get found before it has time to work. It is that simple.

I can't stop anybody from doing anything. It just seemed rude of that lady when (at least when I read it) it clearly stated that they didn't want it known. Since she already did that, I still feel a little weird but idk, maybe ask the op if they're comfortable with it but that's just my own lowly opinion

OP is not too worried. I gave information he seeked. At least with bridge known, it is information for others if they do desire. Not that I support it, but I will be honest with what I know.
Cook seems comfortable, so we do have a discussion now as to what he chooses. Cook, never give me or anyone be else here information on who you are. Our job is only to share information and our personal opinions do not matter. Only the facts and you deciding on your own.

You do realize that my original reply wasn't quoting you right? Like I said, I'm giving my personal opinion. You replied to me and I replied back. OP said they're fine with it so its not my business anymore. Do you. What I will say is I am allowed to post my opinion and I'll continue to do so. This however stopped being my "fight" once the OP said they don't give a fuck. Don't think they appreciated my chiming in but again, not my business

I know that. There is no problem here at all. Your chiming in is always welcome because someone at this crossroads needs all the honest information they can get.

I will have information on thread soon. Have to get baby foods and drinks for wife. Once I am done, giving you all you need to know. You should let others know you welcome them chiming in as well. You don't want to do this without the benefit of all information from everybody possible.
This is so counter to what I am supposed to do, but here goes:

Numbers are much greater than this, most suicides are hidden here.

Like I said, counter to my real goals in work and this is tough for me to do. But I must if I support free choice.

Honest truth on a way. I invited my greatest critic Stan to give more information that is personally hard for me. This bridge is a suicide bridge and it is well known. If you end up where I may see you, there is nothing to work with, you are dead if jumping off this. No if ands or buts, this is a final and decided situation assuming your body is found before it is nothing but bones.

Not sure why I would want to be involved. Done no research on jumping and there is probably a megathread and other stories that can be used as reference. Looking through the thread I feel confused from some of the responses against the OP's question. How it became a stalkerish event to find their spot via google did them no favours. So ask the OP if this helped as they would be the best critic on the quality of help this gave them. For reference, my criticism comes from people ignoring the original question and responding to one in their own head. Also coming up with wrong information which in the context of this site is extremely dangerous.

Thanks for your reply nevertheless. My information is not wrong but is very easily mitagated. Don't be found is pretty easy. Jumping of that bridge on the other hand does not matter if you are found. You will be a deceased recovery and a waste of time in the ER.

Whoa, i was going to do Beachy Head, didn't even know about the Royal Gorge Bridge. 1000 ft, damn, that is going to be a very gruesome death, i like it! Might consider this place instead.

One of the more famous people that chose to end it at New River Gorge. His girlfriend jumped with as well.

This one has been on the news in the area due to a lawsuit associated with it.

btw, since we talking about bridge. OP, if you can travel, I recommend you go to Colorado, it the tallest bridge in the U.S. Stand almost 1,000 feet height clearance below.
It call Royal Gorge Bridge. It a tourist bridge though, you have to buy ticket to get in there. I believe there was 21 bodies that jump and died there (so it not like it a famous suicide bridge). But at 1,000 feet, yeah your pretty much dead.

I share with you the pic, I love it, this would be my ideal place to buried my body. Isn't this bridge beautiful? I like it to due to it alot of mountains rocks, and super shallow river below, and with these rocks edges, knock your head on one of them is enough to break your skull and die as you free fall down.

Damn.... I remember walking across that bridge when I was a kid. I was born in Colorado and the family went there a few times. I loved that bridge!

You can fall off a 5 foot step ladder and die, it all depends on how you land. Land on your face from the height you mentioned? Ain't no 99.9% it's gonna be a 100%. You can jump off a roof face first, you're dead. Your neck is a brittle thing it don't take much to puncture it, choke it or break it.

I am surprised this many made the news. Most of them are well hidden and never reported on the news.

Chose a new method? The info will be useful for someone else if they come across the thread.

It all comes down to how determined you are in the end. Nobody survives that bridge, if you jump off of it, you take the bus. Just don't hesitate and get caught or you will end up in the Psych Ward.
If I found out I was terminal or something, I would get all my affairs in order and take my final jump off it as well.

I wish you could push me haha, like an invisible hand. I'm mentally stupid /clueless after three TBIs. So yeah, not easy.
As in, being stupid hurts.

You are not stupid first off. You are obviously thoughtful of making it as painless and thorough as possible. If you don't mind me asking, how did you receive TBI x3. Don't tell me unless you are comfortable doing so.

Even if you fall in the water, it is game over. River is very shallow. Most jumpers are not fished from the water anyway, they are recovered from the rocks.
There is also railroad tracks and a road under the the bridge.
One lady did hit the river, but she was fished out of it dead. Nobody survives that leaps. Never heard of anyone making it. If you found the bridge on Google, then you know it is a very major spot and one nobody survives unless caught before jumping.
No chance of hitting trees ???

Would that be alright ?

How the hell can you get to an 876 foot place? That's my main question.

With that being said, of course an 876 foot jump would succeed.

Seriously, this seems like a ridiculous troll post.

It wasn't a troll post, some people have survived really astounding heights.

People who survive ridiculous heights also inevitably have a parachute that half deploys, have an aircraft that provides some protection, etc.

Anyway, what is the 876 foot place you plan on jumping from? The very few buildings that are that high will inevitably have a wall around their observation decks that makes jumping impossible.

You will most definitely hit trees if you jump off either side of the river, but from that height, you bust through the canopy and hit the ground below. Nobody has ever been found alive that jumped without a parachute. One guy had done a base jump and his shoot failed to open until he was only 25 feet from the bottom. He did not make it and died instantly.

Okay. Read the rest of the thread. Now I see.

I've never heard of this bridge before. I wonder why people don't jump off it more often.

You also run the risk of hitting a road and railroad tracks. Both are about 850 ft under the bridge.

What's so bad about hitting a road or railroad tracks? It's better than hitting water or even bushes.
