What drug do you think would make the most sense to take prior to jumping from height? Alcohol? Or benzos? I guess one needs to consider how it effects your SI and your bleed out time once you hit.

WARNING: if you need to dose in order to jump, then you will chicken out and get hospitalized. Ask how I know.

This might be a bad idea. Really drunk people have an almost 50 % lower trauma mortality rate compared to sober people. Drunk drivers usually get less severe injuries in car accidents than sober drivers. If you're drunk your body goes limp and doesn't react as violently on impact. I don't know about benzodiazepines, but I assume it's more or less the same. I'd say that alcohol and benzodiazepines increase the risk of survival with severe injuries.

Benzos and ethyl alcohol work pretty similarly on the relevant body systems.

Bloody hell is this true? As I'd always thought I'd drink a bottle of Jack and crash into a wall. I don't think I could do it sober.

Better be a complex suicide. Modern cars aren't FUN to crash in, but very survivable.

What's modern? Mine's a bit retro and it's a convertible. And if I had no air bag and no seat belt?
And took loads of aspirin before??

If it's any consolation to you, the 50 % lower trauma mortality rates don't apply to burn injuries.

Look, I want to say this politely, but: you joined 16 hours ago and already make 50 posts.

As a rule, I don't give advice on methods. If nothing else, it exposes me to potential legal liability. That being said, there is debate on seatbelts.

The forum is against overdose on over the counter meds.

You are giving me very impulsive vibes. Maybe treatment is a superior option?

We, uh, lost a couple guys to vehicle-related burn injuries in an incident in South Baghdad.

Just one thing! I meant aspirin in terms of being a blood thinner not OD.

It's fine. I assume good faith because I'm a lightning rod of pissing people off, for telling it like it is. Christ's sake, we're all here to grease ourselves.
