Definitely not. Despite what it seems, I don't think that the majority of people even know about this site to begin with. Sure, there was that one tantacrul video that popped off but, even then, there still aren't that many people who know about this site. The majority of people who watched the tantacrul video found the site disgusting but then most likely just forgot about this site afterwards or, alternatively, they keep it deep within their subconscious mind and just move on with their life. The few people who do attack this site are just a few loud vocal people such as the fixers

Yeah, it got shut down years ago but it's still infamous for its history. The dark web has some… interesting sites. Really its all just unindexed

Tor has some onion links and it has URL's but the sites and pages aren't indexed

Others have already commented this, but I think 4chan and Kiwi Farms are a lot more infamous than this site. Frankly I didn't learn about this website until you-know-who made that YouTube video.

Nope, most articles refuse to link to the site and some won't even reference it (at least not without a spamwall of hotline numbers and mental health links), which means most normies have never heard of it. Can't be infamous if only a niche corner of the internet knows you exist. It was a hell of a time for me to even get here in the first place because so many Reddit comments wouldn't even mention the name, like it was Voldemort or something and billions would die just seeing it be written down. No different than gore sites, hardcore porn sites, etc. that are only famous in niche "degenerate" corners of the internet... If normies don't know it, it has no reputation.

4chan will hold that title until the end of time IMO, since TV shows, memes, mainstream news articles will always reference it as some vague and terrifying entity. Kiwifarms almost took the crown because of all of its drama but it lost some steam when normies lurked through it to find that the suicide baiting is a small percentage of user interest compared to people raging about fat dumb lolcows getting progressively fatter and dumber.
