what languages would you want to learn?

i have always wanted to learn dutch. i would also like to learn really foreign languages like farsi and hindi. it would be so cool to know every language.

German and Portuguese (Brazilian) because that would have brought me closer to the person that made me the happiest in my life, aswell because i hear German often anyway.

Japanese so i could play games/watch anime/movies withouth solely relying in subtitles.

And randomly Finnish ? Idk it sounds so unique/peculiar ? Like there's no other language that remotely sound like it pronunciation/tone

I'm not Italian nor do I have any Italian roots, but whenever I try to speak other languages people tell me I have a slight Italian accent.

So I feel Italian might be my calling

I feel like an imposter and a invaders among my own people became I simply dont know the language, it largely started when I was younger I was bullied for my race when I was younger so I hated everything Chinese growing up untill

I had Japanese as an elective subject when I was in school. Wasn't even my first pick, it was my last backup subject and I was told that I was selected for it because the class needed one more person for it to run. I wasn't very good at it and was quite clearly at the bottom of the class. Learning a language is very hard after all.. But I still remember hiragana, katakana, and basic sentence structure. So yeah if I had the chance again, I'd properly learn Japanese.

I've actually tried to learn quite a few different languages, but gave up everytime :') I even make made up languages before trying to learn real ones
The ones I wanna learn are:

BSL, since I hate hate hate the fact it isn't taught in schools where I am, despite it being the only way mute people, and the way a lot of deaf people, can communicate. It's genuinely a failure of society sign languages aren't more widely taught

Tagalog is one I want to learn. Honestly, I don't actually have a strong reason, I just straight like the language. I find it really fascinating in how it differs from English. Honestly, I'm probably biased too, since this is the language I got the farthest in learning

Japanese I wanna learn, since I consume a lot of media that was originally made in Japan. Like I wanna be able to play visual novels in the original language, or listen to songs written in Japanese without having to translate it in my head as I'm listening

I've also dabbled in Toki Pona since I like conlangs. Additionally, I've wanted to learn Spanish and Mandarin before, since they're widely spoken, but I've never made a long term attempt at learning them

My native language is Spanish. I'm pretty good at French. I know a little English, but I feel like I still have a ways to go. I'd like to learn English well. I'm interested in Korean because it has 21 vowels (which catches my attention since my language only has 5) and has a beautiful sound to it. I know this because I watch Korean TV shows in their original language, and I like the intonation.

I would love to learn Japanese so I could watch anime without subtitles (I also enjoy the language). I need to bursh up on my ASL, it us getting pretty rusty. Maybe a middle eastern language as a gateway to learning more about their culture.

Japanese. Took 101 in uni, did very well, aced it.

But just like German, once I have to start magically somehow being able to think in Japanese (not translating from English to Japanese in my head, but literally thinking in Japanese by default), it all falls apart.

I do fine with memorizing basic vocabulary and common sentences, but whenever I try to learn grammar in any language other than English, my head explodes. Very frustrating. Makes me feel like an idiot, particularly when other people don't seem to struggle at all.

Never been able to find a way forward. Just perma stuck in my progress / abilities. I would just like to learn it so I could watch anime without subs, read light novels in the original Japanese, and eventually vacation. I don't think I would want to live there unless I was rich, work culture seems worse than the US and US work culture already makes me want to uninstall.

im pretty interested in learning much more older languages, like way back, very old ebglish, greek, latin, whatever else. i also wanna learn cantonese, oh and also maybe arabic languages (dont know the names sorry)
