Is there any way to hide every single forum post made by a specific user?

I know you can ignore them, but that only affects reply and not forum posts, right?

It works on those as well, I ignored one guy that bothered me a bit too much and all his threads disappeared as well to my surprise.

Or maybe I have just gone blind to them because my brain is weird. Please tell me if I have just gone mad.
