Help Is it too risky to buy SN in Australia?

I've seen some threads saying that the SN won't make it through border control.
If I can't get SN in Australia, what's the alternative?

This makes my heart sing
It's exactly what I wanted, what I dreamed.
That if I missed a thread because I have no time or privacy or because I finally catch my bus, that my Australian thread would live on & hopefully help other people & keep positive Australian stories at the top of the pile.
I really can't express how happy this makes me.
We all need options.

I just saw this. I hope you read the link @LunarLight posted - I wrote that thread because I have personal experience receiving SN in Australia. The border control stuff is fear mongering bullshit. Just not true. We need to be focusing on the positives so I hope you find that thread helpful. As to alternatives, that's for you to research - we're here to support, not encourage or discourage. And it's impossible to know who would or could use certain methods - if it was easy, we wouldn't be here. Best of luck with your bus or recovery.

I don't think anyone can make you any guarantees, know your circumstances, who you choose to buy from, your age, your living circumstances, who knows you want to CTB. It's such a very broad question. We can only really quote our own experience or observations. I'm Australian & didn't have a problem in the world. I have not heard of a single other Australian having a problem in the world. Not a one.
Except one person wrote a story about border forces seizing their SN after they had alerted border forces themselves which was very strange & as they've not responded to comments since, "most likely" not a true story. It's so hard to find SN in Australia. If you don't mind me asking, did you get the package sent directly to your home? I was considering hiring a parcel locker from AP. Tried ordering tonight via the Airbnb option but am running into difficulties. It seems to be the most reliable payment method.

Sent to my house, fit in my letterbox, didn't have to sign for it, was before the weird payment difficulties. DMC responded very quickly to all my random & anxious questions via their WhatsApp - I don't know if they're inundated now because of the payment issues or if they're still super helpful. There were some other options listed that didn't take the Airbnb route. I don't really know of/have any of them though, so hopefully it works out.
