Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I am not planning on doing this, because my chemistry knowledge is extremely shallow, so I'd rather not risk it. That aside, is it technically possible, with not much financial investment, to acquire sn at home?
Educational threads about some ideas about ways to make SN at home. Note that most of these are untested; reliability, purity and such is unknown. As such, take these threads with a grain of salt. There are other threads too, but these seem to be the easiest or best explained. Please comment...
Aluminum-Based Oxidation of Sodium Nitrate: A Simple Approach for Acquiring Sodium Nitrite (SN) a_user et al, 2023 This study explores a practical and safe method to produce sodium nitrite (SN), a chemical compound with diverse applications, by oxidizing aluminum with sodium nitrate. Amid...
It's possible but with limited chemistry knowledge, it would probably be insufficient in purity. Additionally, with enough bad batches, you might wind up spending more than simply buying it.

Possible? Yes, but not entirely practical unless you have no other choice. Most methods involve reduction of sodium nitrate, which is pretty cheap if you know where to look. The problem is the effective methods use chemicals that are relatively hard to find or have to be produced themselves, while the easy methods produce very low and moderately impure yields.
