Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Ok, this is my first thread in this forum. I'm a 20 years old man, I'm introvert, anxious and depressed. I struggle with having a social life, I'm a loner and a loser, I want friends and a relationship with a girl but I know I cannot get these. Everyday I cry thinking what a loser I am. What's the point to fight everyday for nothing? I just think that I'm better dead but I'm afraid to die and that's why I want to be drunk doing it. Is it a good way to go? I don't have any options.

There are a lot of different herbicides with different effects, but in general herbicide ingestion would be an unreliable and painful way to die. For example paraquat dichloride can cause corrosive gastrointestinal injury, so essentially your gastrointestinal tract would dissolve while you suffer. It also causes people to vomit blood, and death is slow, taking 11-20 days in the cases I looked at. It's not a recommended method.

The suicide resource thread lists numerous other methods that are more viable than herbicide ingestion:

Have you sought treatment for your anxiety and depression? Those things can often be treated effectively with medications and therapy. You're still young and things can really change a lot in your 20's. I didn't meet any girls until I was 22, but then I met an amazing girl and got married at 23. Young adulthood is a challenging time in life, but if you can hang in there and keep trying things might turn out a lot better than you expected.
