Awkwardly social due to spicy grey matter

People are rats. In the natural course of things, I got hurt, really bad. The curious thing is, I can't seem to remember that person even if I try now. It's been about a year since I saw that person, and I can remember other people I saw long ago quite well. It's like I hit a wall whenever I try to remember that person's face and voice.

Is this fucked up enough to see my therapist again?

I would say it's a sign that you are moving on and past them. I can't remember the voice (actively) of my abusers, but i do know I'm stronger than them now.

You might need therapy. But you are strong for growing.

Forgetting their face is normal. But if it feels like "hitting a wall" if you try to remember, that is the opposite of "letting go." That is a dissociative response, memory repression.
