Is April you month?

I am pondering that—a very popular month for CTB.

Would be relieving if it is, it would be a relief for me if I had the means to reliably free myself from the hellish, futile imposition that is existence. But sadly that's just not the reality in this world where suicide is cruelly made so inaccessible, it truly would be beautiful to fall asleep eternally, I find beauty in how ceasing to exist prevents unnecessary suffering.

hopefully. the reason i've extended it to april is out of sentimentality, for me. certain person died in april. i think it would be nice to go out on a day close to that. like i said, only sentimentality - they never knew me, and it's not like it really has meaning. i was meant to die in february but i pussied out of buying rope

Yeah, they've done studies and found suicide rates increase in the spring so April is quite the popular month to ctb.

I have a trip planned first week of May and I actually want to go on it so I'm waiting.

I got a high quality rope, tied my first slipknot today, put it over my head and squeezed - it felt absolutely wild and I still feel woozy from it. I'm actually taking steps to do this and I can see myself going through with full suspension. April might actually be my month!

huh, so i did a quick scan of a few websites and apparently springtime is more common for suicide.
theories included:
-people (proven in people who are bipolar) tend to be more manic when spring arrives, resulting in destructive behaviour
-as more people connect as it gets warmer, those who are still depressed feel left behind and sad
-allergies?

I am inclined to think the same. In some ways, don't pick a month let a month choose you.

It's definitely a month think that bare feet should be dangling below you as you sway in the gentle Spring breeze.

It absolutely felt like a step in the right direction, and certainly liberating. Having the rope around my neck and pressing against my arteries finally made it feel REAL. Like I'm finally ready to go through with this and jailbreak the hell off this Prison Planet.

Tentatively planning for May but it's not set in stone. I will only do it when/if the moment comes that I feel ready. Maybe that moment will never come, or maybe it will come next month, but I'm self-aware enough to know that I cannot do it and it isn't worth trying if I don't feel ready. Still, I will take the time to practice and prepare so everything will be in place if that moment comes.
