Is anyone just too scared to do it?

I'm at a point now where nothing matters but ctb. That's all I think about every day but the thought of actively taking sn seems horrifying. Anyone else shares similar thoughts?

Personally I feel you won't be scared when you're really ready to do it. You would feel nice to think about all the pain you can finally now leave behind.

I'm in the same position - had absolutely no fear, was 100% sure it was the right thing to do, was ready. Now... not so sure. It feels so vulnerable and scary going from being so ready to fearful again. The uncertainty sucks so bad. I'm sorry you're experiencing a similar thing!

Me too. I set a date about two weeks away and was looking forward to it, felt at peace, etc. then chickened out day before due to doubt anxiety that quickly crept in a few days before the planned date. Next time I'm going to just decide a day or two before and just go through with it. My mind still hasn't changed, I just gave into the bodily reactions.

I'm not scared of the act. scared of what comes afterward. do we just disappear in the void like we never even existed? or is there an afterlife? that the scary part for me

For me it's the opposite...what if we exist on, and what happens next depends on how we ended this life? Not heaven and hell, but reincarnation and frequency/energy wise.
If I knew for sure we go to nothingness, that would give me great comfort.

I swear it's the survival instinct doing the anxiety thing. I had the same reaction when the date finally arrives. Was dead ready couple of days earlier.

Not if it's painless. SS put me on to SN which is such a relief. Before this my only options were hanging or jumping both of which terrify me
