Pretty young too. It fuckin sucks to be honest... I'm like a year off from being able to easily buy a gun in my state and blasting myself, I CANNOT last that long man. Just will make do with my methods available.

Hopefully it works on my first attempt. The shame and guilt from failure would be enough to jump into the ocean LOL

2/3 people I lost to Ctb were 18. It breaks my heart. Only because I want people to be able to experience life as an independent adult outside of their parents purview before they decide to die. I feel like they're missing out and their life may improve on the other side.

However I recognize my hypocrisy as I am in my early 30s and get similar sentiments from older adults. Also I've wanted to die since I was 12 and first started attempting as a teenager. So yeah I'm a hypocrite.

21, but the first thought appeared when I was 8 years old, and from about the age of 14, suicidal thoughts became a permanent element of life and this condition continues to this day, with minor breaks.

Universally hated by my peers, ignored by coworkers, hidden from family. There isn't exactly a loss I can think of besides temporary grief if I CTB. I'm just meant to die. I can't imagine making it to 25, but knowing me, my SI is strong.

I'm coming up on 40. I would honestly beg anyone under 30 to stick it out. Unless you have a really serious problem like a debilitating medical issue.

Life can change a lot and for the better from when you are that young. Youth can be a bit of a rat race. I was quite depressed when i was younger but some of my best years were in my early 30s when i kind of stopped caring about a lot of things and just focused and enjoyed the things i liked to do. That was right up until COVID ruined everything.

Also barely 18. I'm too fucked up to recover. The so-called mental health "professionals" whose sole aim was to help me ended up giving up on me because I'm THAT much of a lost cause. There is no hope left, and I've just been left trailing along being dragged forward by time involuntarily, barely alive as it is, just waiting for the right moment to CTB. I don't want to disappoint my family but I'm a seriously terrible, fucked up person and they're better off with me dead. I'm just a burden on them now. Any real attempt at "recovering" would kill what little love they have for me now. They're better off with me dead, and I'm better off killing myself than trying to get better because it's a lost fucking cause. It doesn't even matter that I'm only 18, we can be fucked up irreversibly at any age. I think I was long gone when I was only 15 or 16, although the downward trajectory had begun way before that, probably when I was 11 and had my first suicide attempt.

I am 20 years old and I will be 21 in July, I haven't even finished my studies yet, they told me that it was best for me to leave for my mental health due to suicidal thoughts and more. I would love to finish my studies but I prefer to first try to get a job even if it gives me enough money to rent any place, even if it is small, I just want to leave my home, I hate people who are so egocentric and evil at times here, and they also refuse to be clean because of it I walk I have a phobia of dirt but only in my home and whenever I touch anything outside my room it makes me horrendously nervous, sometimes I get quite desperate or short of breath. It makes me quite sad that people even younger than me have these thoughts, I really hope they can improve :< (I speak Spanish and use a translator, sorry if some parts are not understood)
