If it's for welding or brazing it has to be very clean gas, so I wouldn't worry about the purity.
Then again if you choose argon be sure to get pure argon and not argon+co2 mix, that would suck.
And about the paint buckets, it's used just like that to prevent the paint curing and forming a skin.
Have you looked for any suppliers who would deliver to home?
What is welding and brazing exactly? Im not fluent in english and when i searched online i didnt really understand what they were.
I am going to call tomorrow, hopefully they do.
Tell them you want to fill your tires with it.
I heard they only use it for race cars. I dont look like someone that owns a race car :(

Welding/brazing are joining metal together using heat from fire or electricity. Sometimes an inert gas is needed to provide an oxygen-free environment around the weld, depending on the type of weld being done.

Here in the US everyone does it. I'm not sure how it is where you live.

For example: If they ask, you can say it's a birthday gift for your brother who's a welder. You don't know anything about welding but your brother said he needs nitrogen, XX amount with at least 99% purity and you'd like to buy the cylinder if possible (of course you need to change the details to specifically what you want). Do they sell what you need?

Here's a great thread that should help you @imstillhere... have you read this?

But for beer brewing it doesnt have to be pure no?
Not really. Breathing a mix with less than 6% oxygen at sea level pressure will kill you just the same. It'll take a few minutes more

The pig was in no discomfort other than being in a strange room in a box. There is another video floating around of a feed trough inside a helium environment. The pig sticks it's head in, passes out, head comes out of hood, and then the pig wakes up and sticks it's head in again to start eating.

people are confusing death looking romantic and pretty like on the movies and peaceful. Death is seldom cinematic and pretty. That doesn't mean it isn't completely peaceful. If people watched a complete video of euthanasia from Nembutal, there would be endless hand wringing about the scary noises and "gasping for breath" that lasted for 30 minutes.

Everyone needs to divorce the concept of death looking or sounding nice from peaceful. A shotgun to the head is about as fast and peaceful as it gets. It does not look pretty.
Where is this vid?

Apparently those with bipolar disorder (manic depression) can be hypersensitive to carbon dioxide triggering of anxiety and panic, according to this study.

I also wonder if the lack of oxygen might cause anxiety and panic in some people, when using the inert gas method.

When I experimented with a homemade debreather device (see this thread), I found that after about 3 to 5 minutes, as oxygen levels went down in my debreather air bag, I developed a strong urge to stop the test, take the mask off my mouth, and breathe fresh air — a panicky urge to breath fresh air similar to what you get when you hold your breathe for a minute or so.

This strong urge to stop the debreather test occurred when my blood oxygen saturation (measured by a finger oximeter) was around 80% to 70%. I believe my CO2 scrubber in the debreather was removing the CO2, so I think the panicky urge to stop the test was likely caused just by the low oxygen levels.
