Took the words right out of my mouth...I have no real idea what to make of any of this. I'm not surprised though. There are always going to be terrible, manipulative creeps everywhere especially on the internet. Some of them like to turn the heat away from themselves and point out other people like them so that they can lure people in themselves.

@TessB if you're still reading this I'm so sorry all that stuff happened to you. I won't blame you for it because you were just trying to have fun in your own way and express yourself on here like anyone would want to. Whether you stay or go is up to you and that's your decision but don't get suckered into joining the other side either. I'm not saying you have been converted, but it could seem that way to some people and FT26 is surely getting quite a thrill off this entire thread.

I think if you really want freedom from SS since it's so troubling you should also stay away from everyone who's involved with it and that includes opponents like Jeremy since he's the equivalent of those phone scammers who scam people by pretending to be protecting them from other scammers. He tells people the real tactics that manipulative online creeps use and points out examples to everyone else in order to draw suspicion away from the fact that he's using those same techniques himself.

Since it's all public now, I did get some weird vibes from Tess. But I recognize it could just be the paranoia in my head.

Back in middle school I had a fame of being a nerd and there was this one girl who would keep teasing me, hugging me, playing with my hair, kissing my cheeks, and then leaving me completely confused. Obviously she didn't want anything serious, but up to this day I don't know if she thought I was gay, or if she really thought she was helping, or if I was living Stephen King's Carrie and I was the main character. Whatever the answer may be, I went with the latter, told her she was bothering me and completely cut off contact.

I felt the same from Tess' actions here.

In that one incel thread, things were getting too explicit and I literally told her she could try to join a BDSM circle instead of looking for an incel to "degrade" her. That was my shitty way of trying to turn the heat down. First because of the nature of this forum, second because whether my paranoia was correct and she was being manipulative, or it was wrong and she was just vulnerable, with that kind of behavior someone is bound to get hurt. When that was fruitless, the only time I addressed her was when she asked whether the SN she bought was correct, just a quick objective information, no reason to worry about any complicated stuff.

@TessB, if you are real and honest, I'm sorry you're in such distress. But SS isn't a person that you can have an abusive relationship with, it's a place. Like any other place, there are good people and bad people. These are the ones that need to be sorted out. If you don't believe you can do it, not even by blocking, reporting or disabling PMs, then maybe it is for the best that you find somewhere else to hang out. Just be very careful out there. We're all behind screens here, no one is going to touch us unless we make an extra effort. Out in the real world, if you need it, consider always being around a friend to keep you in check and to maintain bad people away.

You know what, I've been trying to stay out of this drama and even when I wrote my own comment on the "bullying/profile pic" thread of hers, I did not revisit it or entertain anymore responses.
I said my piece and I left, and I did not mince words, which she likely did not appreciate.
I would post the same thing again too, I stand by every statement I made.
People are going to twist things to suit their own defense and narrative, but I have no control over that.

I never insulted her physical appearance, I never went in her pms or pursued her in any predatory way, I simply criticized her changeable actions and decisions in the way she chose to present herself on a pro-choice, suicide-centric website, as well as her hypocrisy. (And only because she solicited other's opinions with a thread.)
Some of which I stated, was for her own good and safety. The irony.

I referenced alternatives if she wants to continue the same type of fishing behavior and use certain incendiary images of herself. There is a time and a place, and this site ain't it.
So much context she purposely leaves out.
She knew exactly what she was doing and the vulnerable/mentally ill shtick only runs so deep and gets you so far.
Why is no one else she attacks allowed to use that same excuse?

I also condemned the other person for commenting on her body in the first place.

This was either her plan all along, or she is so hurt by the responses in that one thread of hers, that she is using her anger to fuel a biased body of work against us.

I've been outright bullied and attacked here several times (probably more than I am aware of since I revisit so little of what I engage in). I admit I am a stubbornly uncompromising person so it happens, but I've never made whole posts about it or blamed the site or the community as a singular entity. Even when the attacks are based on things outside of my control, not my words or actions.
I have instead responded to the person directly or requested help from the mods (which we might need a little more of btw).
Not a perfect system, I know, but just because we all agree on the right to die, doesn't mean we are remotely similar in any other ways, nor does it mean any one of us is a saint.

Disagreements are going to happen, unless we present ourselves insincerely to each other on all things.
There may be some groupthink going on once in awhile and people being a little overzealous in their compassion toward users who are no angels themselves, but this site and its basic reason for existing are absolutely necessary.
I don't want to see anyone endanger that under false pretenses.
If OP wants my comment deleted, fine by me, but continue on the journey of a false pariah, and I may have to give my two cents once again.

I suspect I know who the Leggings guy is lol, they messaged me too, except they went straight to mentioning/alluding to us being/getting married (isn't it against the rules to use the partners' thread to look to start a relationship with the members who post there/use it, especially with unconsenting ones?) This is the least creepy event in my interaction with the user, though. They mentioned going into eternity together and being one in eternity together, they seem fixated/obsessed with this and actually seemed like they planned their entire persona and operation before even making an account. I posted a little guide in there on how you can protect yourself if you still want to stay and benefit from being a member of SS (or the internet in general). It's very informative. You shouldn't miss out on it. I also went a bit more in-depth about the interaction I had with the user I mentioned. Also as a side note, this is why it's so important to voice the events, I was surprised but not really when I read that the user who contacted me also contacted other users. It's good to know. No.. I like men. I would never promote hate against men. Many men on this forum are wonderful people, including @D11FER who will be my friend forever..
I didn't have multiple accounts simultaneously.. I had one 'Bathsheba' in 2019, another I think was called Viola a while after then Tess. The reason is quite simply I change my mind all the time. I'm flaky. So I ban accounts, change my mind, come back, leave, come back etc etc. But you didn't used to be able to be unbanned multiple times so I would have to create a new account to rejoin. I didn't talk about it for fear of being banned. Many users on here talk of doing the same thing.

Don't you have the option to ignore a private conversation request? I do that to strangers because nothing good comes from that, but this looks like you are accepting all of them.

In my defence normally guys don't start the chat off being predatory that happens over time when they have gained your trust.

As a woman I've never experienced harassment of a sexual nature on this forum, though I guess most people think I'm man if they think anything at all. To be honest im not sure a thread like this does any good as it doesn't reveal who the predators are.

I am real I wasn't actually actively looking for an incel to degrade me or anything! There was obviously some truth in what I was saying in terms of sexual preference, but mainly I was just having a laugh, trying to be light hearted.
Sex is the ultimate taboo on ss which is odd in a community of supposedly open minded free speaking people. And I talked about it too much. Not for any reason other than I think it's interesting! I guess people were offended.
