sigh, im a fucking hypocrite and i dont even want to write this but i need to put it somewhere

a close friend just started messaging me with the kinda stuff id expect from someone in their last moments and i just started breaking down and begged them not to. they said they werent going to do it just yet but are planning on very soon

im going to visit them next weekend
i cant lose them. they mean so fucking much to me.
its so fucking hypocritical that i expect people to just let me go but the second anyone tries to go around me i just start begging them not to

they mentioned the method they want to use, makes me think that they are on here, if so, hi v, you can probably figure out who i am from this message, i love you

I'm sorry~ :( It's truly really hard to let those go who are close to us! :( We want them to get better so much, so we can keep on talking to them and enjoying their presence! >_< I understand for I had someone like that too~ :(

its not hypocritical to want the best for somebody and at the same time want that somebody to be with you... if anything, its just unfair, but because of nature, not because of you.

i also think that people should free to do the deed if they really need to, but at the same time i feel very bad when i read people who posted their last messages in here and even cried.

I completely understand this. I'm pro choice and would want everyone to understand my decision but at the same. If my brother, or anyone I loved, came to me and said they wanted to die and were going to CTB, I would break down and do everything I could to keep them here.

It's okay to do that. I don't think you're a hypocrite. I would talk to them more if you go to see them, not to talk them out of anything really, just talk to them and listen to what they say and why they say they want to die. My advice is think about what YOU would want someone to say to you/ask you if the roles were switched, and be that person for them and be understanding which it sounds like you already are .
