To keep things brief, I am 19 and I tried to kill myself 4 years ago with an overdose of codeine.
Obviously, this didn't work, and I've been in and out of hospital for the last few years.
You have no idea how badly I want to live and how much effort I've put into it, but I can't. It's a misery.
I don't have access to firearms, and I don't want my body mangled beyond recognition. Which over-the-counter drugs could I access in the UK?
I want to go peacefully and on my own terms.

Welcome. There are alternatives to CTB which you can find on the site.

I'm afraid there are no OTC drugs which is accessible in the UK. Everyone can dream that one day there will be something!

CTB? OTC? What does that stand for? I'm not very drug savvy

CTB (catching the bus) is an euphemism for taking our own life
OTC means over the counter (as in drugs)

Ctb really isn't that easy unfortunately even know I wish that it really is. We live in a world that makes it as difficult for us to die as possible after all. I think that if there were OTC drugs easily available then there would likely be no forum filled with endless method information. As said above all that anyone can do is look at the information in the resources section on here and decide what is best for themselves.

I understand wanting to exit peacefully, to me a peaceful death really does sound ideal, and I know that it's awful being trapped in a life that is just constant misery. I'm sorry that life brought you to this point.
