I'm afraid of reincarnation

I'm afraid, that my next life will be much worse. I mean my current life is already very shitty in my opinion, but what If Im born in a poor country in the next life or am born seriously ill? Can anyone relate and have the same thoughts as me? I really hope to be free from life forever after death. I don't want a shitty second life.

Maybe we are forced to reincarnate by some malevolent entity? I dont think anyone would come to this planet by their choice. Born into illness, born into poverty or some other shit.

I don't really know. I would be very happy just not to suffer from mental illness I guess. And maybe not to meet on people who are so evil that they completely destroy me with their actions.

Same, It's this completely irrational fear, I can't seem to get rid of, Even though I know rationally that once your brain ceases to function you are in capable of ever being conscious, I still have the fear that somehow, someway, that consciousness will be thrust upon me once again, Resulting in a never ending cycle of needless suffering induced life.

I think my fear is sort of simply just that it might reveal to me a world in which there is no way to escape, making me face a messed up reality in which their is no way of ending the suffering that every conscious being experiences. More selfishly that I Would never be able to escape.

It's like one of those anxiety inducing ideas that your mind come up with when you are just about to fall asleep, except it never seems to leave.

I feel you, because this is my biggest fear. I have spent years trying to understand what happens after the end of this consciousness tied to a body, and in the end I believe it is a concrete possibility that after death, there is a continuity with the birth of a new consciousness in another human being or animal, which should not be confused with the classic concept of reincarnation. We have already been born once, where a consciousness has taken shape inside the body, and so if it has already happened once, in my opinion there is a good chance that this event will happen again in an infinite cycle.
