Bro I'm sick and TIRED of being sick and TIRED!! I just got denied access to the military because I failed the urinalysis for pot. Im a fucking fuck up. My parents kicked me out, I'm 19, living with my friend. I'm thinking of joining Job Corps to become a computer technician and then advance my training/community college through Job Corps. But I still feel like a useless shit that just gets fucked every turn in life. My real life parents died, got adopted, my foster parents sucked at parenting so I started smoking weed at 17 because my depression became unbearable. Now they have kicked me out this year January 03rd, and I was forced to take a leave of absence from college because I was commuting and now I don't have a house or basic needs met and I'm not trying to accumulate debt while all of this is happening. Fuck My life.

First and foremost, being a pot smoker does not make you a fuck up, nor does living with a friend, especially at the age of 19. It is uncommon for most 19 year olds to not be doing things of that nature.
I'm sorry for the losses of your bio parents, and that you couldn't get the help you needed from your foster parents. I'd say try out Job Corps and try to acquire food stamps before any drastic steps.

Popping hot at MEPS will only make you eligible for the Army. If you're still seeking the military route, I'd encourage to retest. Your recruiter would know more information about retesting and eligibility into the Army.

Clearly, you have plans, regardless of your feeling like a fuck up. You are ambitious, you have objectives. What is fucked up about that? If anything, it tells me you know what you're doing...be kinder to yourself pal.
A guy I knew was a marine in Iraq and recounted horror stories of his service there. He told me, for example, that the badly burned bodies of the enemy were frequently referred to as "crispy critters". It makes sense that a dark sense of humor was necessary to survive there. I personally feel that this country.ought to be ashamed of its neglect of vets, particularly the V.A..
I have seen shocking fotos depicting the interiors of some v.a. hospitals; I was appalled. Now that I know your story, to me you are even less of a fuck up. In my eyes you are a hero, pal—hats off to you. I have also read that the suicide rate among Iraqi vets is particularly high; why do you think that is? I also read that they would hand out Prozac to the troops like candy, as if it would enhance their fighting ability. My marine friend had to wait for over a year just to have a ruptured disk in his back treated. Disgusting!
