Especially with everything going on now. maybe I'm being paranoid but I find it interesting how now with the police visiting people.. that all of the sudden new users are asking for CCS source or new sources. why anyone in their right mind would order SN now? unless they want the link to report it too

Realistically this stuff doesn't matter that much.

This site is on the radar, SN is on the radar, posters playing Chinese whispers isn't going to matter. If you can attain an SN source within 20 posts then so can law enforcement.

It just depends on the priorities of law enforcement more than posters actions, so I wouldn't blame people here. I think we can now expect SN is very much a priority.

I agree to be careful and all of this is legitimately heartbreaking. If 8 ever knew someone to CTB, I'd much rather it be peaceful than violent.

I think we just need to be careful. don't engage in Twitter, IG or discord with other people. I been seeing a lot of people doing that either with members from here or with those angry families. they don't realize when they do this they aren't fucking heros. they are making suicidal people more suicidal which will ultimate push them to CTB sooner. so if they think about it.. they are doing EXACTLY what they falsely accuse other members of doing. let's only talk here. don't try to make friends because it's easy to get your posts up and not look like a new member anymore.

Agreed. It's a total secret I use this forum tbh, I would never tell anyone in my real life, they'd freak. I only use discord to Roleplay with my friends and I don't use IG or Twitter except to get updates on m6 favorite creators. I think in that sense, I'm good.

I also recognise there's only so much you can do as the source needs to be shared for discovery purposes in order to do business at all, obvious steps are to not share with people who are relatively new or don't have a good post history. Even without sharing there would be traces appearing if the material is found and the transaction/email/browsing history of whoever.

In the case of IC and EM, the weak link was Canada and the payment provider. For a business like this you need somewhere international and remote with a payment system in that region. China, Russia or maybe even India based, but without selling to their local population so as to keep their local authorities away. Being legally grey in a location under "Western" influence leaves you entirely at their mercy.

The other and best option is the materials simply exist for everyday purpose on a broad platform where removal would inconvenience normal people in the same way that something like sharp objects, cars, rope, or nitrogen is, but I don't know what other purposes people have for 100% pure SN So I guess that's why it's so hard to come by.

The person behind IC was arrested, and there have been multiple reports of police visits to those who ordered from them. On top of that, the world seems more aware of SN and it has gotten that much harder to find a source that ships residentially.

You underestimate the people battling against this site, if they can get a source taken away they will do everything in their power to do that. If a source is reliant on being kept hidden, the unfortunate reality is that it won't last. There's nothing we can do about this, and an infiltrator can easily make 20 posts anyway.

I think that so many accounts only joined to find out about SN in the first place, they have no interest in posting anything and many of them are very likely in a situation of horrific suffering and just desperately wish to escape. People come here to learn about suicide methods rather than pointlessly posting.

Having it in mainstream media definitely brought attention to it. Both from people interested in a way out and people wanting to stop that. Personally Very sad to have IC shut down and arrested. Desperate to find another Canadian source.

this times a million...I barely have the strength to interact with anyone let alone build up a post history chatting about random things just to be seen as trustworthy...but I get that people need to be careful etc...it's just so frustrating because I've tried hanging so many frickin ties and my damn SI
