If you're found to have SN, what happens?

In the US, I know that it's perfectly legal to have SN. However what happens when someone finds it or figures out that you've purchased it?
Are the police then allowed to search your home/room if you have a history of mental illness?
I'm asking because mine will be arriving in a few days and it reminded me about some intrusive questions my therapist would ask.
When on the topic of ctb she persistently asks ' How would you do it '.
Of course, I come up with lies and make it out to be something I'm not interested in.
But if a family member were to come across it once obtained, they would likely take it and throw it away- yes.
But can your ability to order more be taken away? And if so how do you think that would happen...?

I think it would be treated the same as say a rope. A therapist would encourage you to get rid of it, a loved one might even take it from you, but I dont think the police can get involved except for chaptering you. Theres nothing stopping you from ordering more, unless like you live with someone and they start checking all your mail.

I suppose that would be my biggest fear. Luckily my room isn't ever checked and I have a pretty good hiding place. But there's still that fear- because say that my condition acts up and I'm sent to a hospital and my room is checked by the family I live with who may be suspicious.

I hid stuff in my car's wheel well because my parents didnt go through my car. Idk if you have a car but that could be an option

I bought mine in feb 2020.. heard stories about police visits, thought it was bollocks until they turned up at my door in feb 2021. I think the UK are a lot more strict than other countries. Nothing happened to me, I handed it over, had phone call and that was irt. Now I can't buy it.

Unfortunately, all I've got is a bedroom.
But I suppose they didn't find my other various tools the last time I was sent due to harm, so maybe I shouldn't stress too much.
I guess I threw myself into a frenzy today when my other ordered items weren't on my doorstep after my devices alerted me that they were delivered.
( They arrived an hour later hehe, new mail-truck driver I guess. )
I got this paranoid idea that they had found I ordered it and that all my packages could be being held. But now that I've calmed down it seems pretty ridiculous since it's legal in the US.

Depends on if they know what it is or not. I ordered scalpels a while ago under the same amazon account my mother uses and she didn't piece together it was to have a possible out. SN outside of forums I think is an obscure method so I would be more worried about the antiemetics like meto being found out about.

Here in the USA we are still a free country so nothing would come from it unless you threatened to use it. Even then, and only maybe, would a therapist try and convince you to get rid of it.

Ordering the antiemetics and importing them here without prescription is illegal (I believe it is a felony, could be wrong) so you could possibly get jail time if found out. I highly doubt that would happen though. The SN itself is perfectly legal.

Just make sure wherever you hide it it's not on timber or double packed if it is.
Spilled pure SN on wood or other combustibles is a fire hazard.
