It would be in a field full of flowers. That would be neat.

The cliffs on the coast a half hour drive from my childhood home. Wide open fields, tall grass and flowers with a brisk breeze coming off the North Sea.

Used to play football with my friends there when I was a wee 'un. Wouldn't mind driving up to the cliff ledge, setting up shop on the hood of my car and watching the sunrise while the SN puts me out.

I was just going to drive to a secluded area and kill myself in my car. If I were to drive anywhere it would be head on with a semi but wouldn't want to cause distress for the other driver

@mesohappy and @Nem, I originally planned on driving out in the middle of nowhere in my car, and just parking in a ditch. But I fear that no one will ever find me, or if not, for a long time. Stan had made a post shortly before he passed about someone from this forum who had CTB'd in the middle of nowhere and and it wasn't for months that he was actually found. There was a news article I guess that stated his family was devastated.

From there on, I realized that I would rather do it somewhere where someone would find me when the sun rises.

As an alternative, you could get an AirBnB in a secluded location and book it out for say 3 days, which gives you more than enough time to pass and still ensure someone will find you within a reasonable time. Would save the distress on your loved ones.

Living where I do, we have the ocean less than a mile away got huge national parks, mountains, desert...all within driving distance. I used to put into play some grand gesture of where I would than thought "what the heck" I could do it right out on the street outside my place and no one would take notice....at least for a whole 24hours. It's
going to be at night tho....the world seems a lot slower at night easier to hear your thoughts and think.

My worry isn't not being found..I wouldn't care if I wasn't found forever. My worry is more about the expensences that I would leave behind, the mess, the traumatizatation of the finders. The ruin that it would cause my dwelling.I don't want to inconvienience others..I just want my mind to stop and disappear.

I think driving at least a couple hours away and booking a hotel to take SN is what I'll end up doing. That way nobody I know would find me, and I won't be interrupted.

a place my grandparents use to take me. Right now would be perfect because of the snow it's all closed off up there. So I wouldn't be found for a few days. It's beautiful in the snow too.

i live 2 hours away from yosemite and everytime i go there it's the most peaceful place i've witnessed (except for the random fires ofc) I wish i had the option to ctb there, it looks like what i imagine heaven looks like. 0010B63B 9AFF 4A12 A829 AADED0190756

One of my favourite national parks in the UK  Wild ponies, beautiful views, lush open spaces.

Somewhere near Kielder observatory. It'd be nice to see the night sky in as much detail as possible as the life leeches out of me.
