Discussion If you have SN of a lesser purity, couldn't you just take more of it?

The recommended dose is 25 grams of SN as close to 100% purity as possible right? But even if you had a lower purity, couldn't you just... take more of it?

For example, let's say it was 50% purity. You'd just up the dose to 50g, and 25g worth of that is still going to be good SN, right? So you're still getting the full dose. I suppose you'd have a higher chance of throwing it up so there's that, but assuming you can keep it down, is there any reason this wouldn't work?

Your math is correct and you also named increasing risks. While this may still work for 50% purity (not recommended!!!), it certainly doesn't work with curing salt bc the total amount that has to be swallowed becomes too much the lesser the purity is.

It's always better to get >95% purity.

Yeah I'd never go so far as to use typical curing salts as those are only 6% if I remember correctly? I have >95% SN in my possession already but am not quite ready to use it yet, so I'm mostly just worried about it degrading over time.

long as u keep it tightly closed in a container and in a dry place, its good.
