Cats are capable of giving a lot when I was stuck with my abusive ex I'd be having my first drink before work in the morning whilst she was in bed and her cat would come down off its bed and sit on me as if she was exchanging energies with me I would feel a bit better compared to when sitting alone.
Also recently a neighbourhood cat has took a liking to me and darts out the bushes to get stroked. And speaking of intelligence, cats are smarter than humans, pretty soon they will be humans damn overlords at this rate, one can only hope. They won't be using their kitten as a cotton ball.
