it is nice to have a safe place to talk about it without people freaking out. friends and family get so upset when they know I am like this and then I hide it and it gets even worse.

Unfortunately, mainstream media has taught us that anyone contemplating suicide is "mentally ill". That's not necessarily true. Throwing them into an asylum just so they can't off themselves makes it even worse. Forcing people to keep on living just for the sake of living is ridiculous - sure, I believe one should exhaust all of their options first before they decide to CTB, but in the end, only you get to decide whether or not you want to go through with it.

It's your life. Your choice.

We hardly ever see any dead beings even though we have all this raw meat in the supermarkets. Guess how that got there. We are squeamish with the dead maybe because they carry dangerous bacteria if they have been dead long enough. Some people are better than others. In some ancient tribes, a special cast of people deal with the dead...

You are welcome. Not sure where in the world you are but I am in the UK so for me the note is in English. If you live in a country where the housekeeping staff may speak predominantly another language, consider doing the note in the two languages as well as a big 'do not enter' sign that would be visual rather than written word. You have then covered all bases

yes here many speak spanish so I was already thinking I will need to make sure it is written in spanish as well as english. I feel so relieved though with an option of a note on a bathroom door. having a plan sometimes calms me so much I don't know if I have to act but having a plan helps.
