Can mirtazapine (remeron) work as antiemetic for SN? I can't get metoclopramide. I have searched everywhere but no success.. I'm in US.
Also, can olanzapine (zyprexa) work as antiemetic?
Any good suggestions?
I have heard OTC antiemetics are not enough to prevent vomitting. It's so frustrating to read threads that say that only metoclopramide is the answer for antiemetic for SN..

From my understanding, it decreases the time taken for the SN to be absorbed. Less time = less pain

So.. somehow lower acidity in stomach makes SN get absorbed faster and sooner?

But this sounds a bit counter-intuitive, though.

My intuition is that the higher the stomach acidity, the higher/faster the SN absorption rate. Why is it that a low acidity cause high absorption rate of SN?
Can anyone explain this please. It just sounds counter-intuitive..
