Venting I think my friend has commited suicide

I haven't heard of them in a long time, they would take a month to reply, but last time we talked they said they had to quit college because of depression... And I know they tried suicide a couple of times. If they are actually dead, how am I suppoused to be feeling? Maybe I feel jealous? It's just to confusing
