Not through violence of course. But if I were asked, I would start a political party called the Anti-Human Party and suggest a plan to phase out humanity gracefully:
Plank 1: Antinatalism (everyone should stop procreating, so access to contraception should be made free and easier and childfree lifestyles incentivized)
Plank 2: The elderly will freak out because they will "have nobody to take care of them" (which has been a main reason to procreate for millennia thus perpetuating a non-sense humanity for no reason). So here there will be two options. One, euthanasia should be made easy and available to the elderly at least. This may sound cruel but many tribes have already practised euthanasia of the infirm elderly for millennia. If it's too cruel then option two is to develop AI and robot nurses to take care of the last elderly on earth.
Plank 3: Structure the economy based on need and ability, not profit. Since there will be an actual end goal, it will be easier to calculate the utilization of ressources. There won't even be much of a need to switch to renewable energy. But everything during the phasing out should be made as easy and comfortable as possible and people will notice that there actually is no point in "saving the economy" and "provide a future" etc. etc.
What are your thoughts?
