I ruined my pharmacist's career?

I knew exactly what I needed, but I didn't have a prescription for it. My psychiatrist is 21km away and sends prescriptions to me as PDFs. I waited for the latest one to arrive—it was for my usual meds, Sertraline and Flupentixol. Once I got the file, I opened it in Adobe Acrobat. It was easy to delete the original medicine names and type in 'Phenobarbitone' instead. I made sure the font matched so it looked like the doctor had written it himself.

I went to the Pharmacy, showed him the prescription. I hesitated to buy. Said I'll let you know. He told me he didn't have 60mg but 30mg. I said I'll let you know and left cuz anxiety was already eating me up inside.

Next day, something triggers me and I go there. Show him the prescription, get the 30mg bottle ( 100 tablets ). But I didn't use it.

I feel terrible. Because if I use it. There'll be an investigation. And the police will or might track him down since my mom knows where I usually buy medicines from.. plus this is a Schedule X drug.

I think I should rather buy SN. From JioMart. Atleast no one would really be harmed. ( Jio is a huge indian company, a billionaire owns it so I don't really think he'd be at risk. ) And we'll — I don't know. Maybe it's just better to suicide jumping off a 10 floor building? Atleast no other person would be harmed.

I don't know what the regulations are where you live, but if it's not illegal for him to email the script you pharmacist will be fine. It is you that committed that committed several crimes. You should bail on this plan and hope it just goes away. Forging a prescription is most likely a serious crime, but at this point it is the only crime.

Yeah but — if I kill myself using the barbitone he'd be tracked down after the reports say I died by phenobarbitone overdose. And the police will track down the source and find him. Maybe.

I don't wanna ruin his life. He trusted me. Ofc I'm thinking of finding other ways. Plus, I gave up my phenobarbitone to my therapist months ago. At college.

Unless I kill myself using the barbitone, I suppose he's fine.

I think he is pretty safe to be honest. He can prove what prescription he sent to you from his end. I don't think he will be convicted of anything.
