i mean, it's not impossible with an online doctor. my mom gets meds online all the time through online appointments. going the legal route you'll have to have a mental script of what to say to get you the right medicine. meto i feel like would be easiest to get a online doctor to approve. benzos would be more tricky, but if you talk to an online psychologist enough and say the right things i dont see how it's completely impossible. genuinely it's all about what you say and how you explain it. asking for a specific med outright will prob not work, but if you say all the right symptoms + say you tried other meds that didnt work enough that's more likely to work

oh wow really? i was just going off of my experiences too, i've tried to say my anxiety was debilitating and all they gave me was hydroxyzine

usually doctors will go for the least strong med, i was given hydroxyzine in the past too and it pissed me off cuz it works as well as a benadryl (aka not helping my anxiety) so i hate that med LOL but getting stronger meds can be a process, if i was given that my next appointment i would say its not helping at all, then they'll try other options

I had a psychiatrist that would hand me out prescriptions for whatever I asked. She did suggest something less strong but I just asked for the strongest and she would agree to it. I no longer take meds but if I ever wanted to I'd prob go back to her lol.
