Hello, 3 years ago I was charged with 3 counts of possession of csam (cp). However, the police don't have evidence that they are minors. They are closeups and it's hard to tell. I never intentionally downloaded something that I thought was csam.
My lawyer has been working with the prosecutor to see if there's a deal which can be made. It's likely not going to be dismissed. But initially they were asking for 3 years prison. My psychosexual evaluation came back indicating that I'm trustworthy and that my autism and being sexually abused as a child contributed to not being careful when looking up pornography.
I'm really happy that I might not be going to prison! It's really awesome. I have a sex addiction and have been getting help for that. I have to learn to be careful of using the Internet since you never know what ages they are. I'm feeling hopeful.
