Help I made big big mistake and got a dog for 4500£,I think I’m going through an episode

I love dogs so so much but I'm also going crazy!!!
I quit my job last week
Stopped taking my pills today cuz I'm going nuts with them
I'm planning to CTB soon
But today I don't know what happened!! Woke up and decided to get a dog!!
I'm in love with him he so cute but I'm going to CTB soon !! What I was thinking!! When I don't have family or friends!!
What do I do now?

at least you get snuggles and licks and sleepy eyes and snorts and scratches (i'm jealous)
and about the CTB thing:- don't stress cos the universe will put you where you meant to be and find new owners if thats the case or what will be...
i look after colonies of hard / tricky / sickly feral cats and have learnt they give me more than I could ever repay. they cost me a fortune and are emotionally annihilating but they're a distraction (and can live out my father fantasies thru cool names: anorexia / anubis / nervosa / blaize / isis / iris / blackjack / smackjack / smudge / grey / claw / thembi / shiva / bearmouse / michael jude.
life is short i got blessed by their love and affection.
regret is expensive, baby and i'm not talking money. enjoy yr puppy. xm

Omg your new dog is soooo cute.
I can tell you that in my case, my dog is almost 12 and his health is failing.
I want to ctb. Like now. But i also don't want to leave him and thus i am in the deepest conflict of my existence.
He is an anxious boi who is extremely "unusually bonded" to me (says the vet).
I know were i to die, it would affect him badly.
I feel i owe him- for all his almost 12 years of being my constant companion- to be his companion until he passes. And so i am trying not to ctb until he goes.

Dogs are wonderful, selfless creatures. They will love you more than they love themselves....

However impulsive your act was- you now have a +1 who relies on you for everything in life... and you get to rely on your dog too.

I know for me, i have provided for my dog in the way that if i do ctb before he goes- i have made sure that there is a loving home waiting for him. I used a different situation to ask someone "if anything ever happened to me, would he take my dog" and he said yes. So i am secure in my boi's future no matter what. I will be providing a few months worth of his meds and

I hope that by sharing my experiences, it helps in some way to show you some ways in which to stand by your dog, ctb or not.

Did i mention your dog is freaking adorable? What kind is (s)he that 4,500 pounds is his/her cost?

It's easy to say, and I'm sure you feel that. But if you're planning to CBT soon, as you said, then you really have to commit or find him another home. "If you love someone, set them free..."

I understand the loneliness, I really do. But I also know the dark side of trying to use a pet as a companion. I've seen it too often in my family. Even my best friend/roomate, a few years ago, got a cat out of loneliness after a breakup, but once he got back into a social life, he neglected the cat emotionally, if not physically, because the cat was no longer needed to fill the void, and tried to push him off on me. As much as I enjoy dogs and cats for a short time, I can't have pets, for emotional reasons, because of the past, and because I know my own temper when I get angry, so I couldn't take him full-time. He eventually found him a new home, but it was hard on him and the cat (and me; as I did get attached to the little brat...)

Please, remember, it's a two-way street. I don't know you, so I can't tell you what you should or shouldn't do. But you have to be there even when the initial love wears off. And you can't just CBT, now. Please think about it before it's too irreversible.

Have you tried asking for a refund or chargebacking and returning it? I've done it multiple times when going through episodes.

Looks like you've got an incredibly difficult decision ahead of you. Either you live for the doggo and let his love for you carry you along or you find him a new home as quickly as possible. I can't imagine it will be difficult to find a good home for a dog like that. And I wouldn't feel guilty for that either because giving up a dog you can't look after properly takes a lot of strength. Dogs are amazing at readjusting and he will be okay.
