i have certain triggers that can give me a seizure.
for example bad sleep, ingesting aspartame is a guaranteed (next day) seizure.
if i drink 3 pepsi's with aspartame, i will 100% have a seizure the next day.

so i guess i could do just that, drink pepsi,
and then when i wake up go spend my entire day in a pool until it finally happens.

what similar things can i do?

stand ready with my head inside a noose the entire day and wait for a seizure to make me unconscious.
that would be fucking torture tho, because it might take 5 hours, 8 hours, whatever...

i can't time them perfectly

I had seizure activity from a med, please dont try and ctb via inducing a seizure. That simply won't be relaible and may lead to a way worse outcome..

All the best to you <3 🍎

The actual odds of dying from a seizure are around 1 in 1,000 when accounting for every type and cause of seizure.

Depending on the type of seizure disorder you have, I'd say you're more likely to just injure and hospitalize yourself.

Food for thought.

the point is that it makes me pass out and unconscious, so if i had my head inside a noose while it happened,
there would be no turning back

Solid advice!

Pretty much anything that isn't mentioned in the most recent editions of the PPH is pretty unlikely to work or won't be too accessible...

thanks, but its not the seizure alone, its the fact it makes me unconscious and if i become uncosncious in a pool, or the ocean, then theres no turning back

There are probably better ways to render unconsciousness for hanging that doesn't risk waking back up or other unpredictable + unwanted outcomes. Also that don't have unpredictable timing.

Benzodiazepines or alcohol come to mind

I would expect unconsicousness via a seizure to be a highly unreliable unconscious state..
A seizure makes your brain misfire very uncontrollably, which disrupts normal brain activity and leads to an unconscious state. It would only seem logical to me, that this cannot be compared to let's say hypoxia for example.

How your CNS will react when exposed to either hanging or drowning, cannot be predicted and may lead to strong reflex-like muscle movements and complications.

This is a highly unreliable way to ctb, and will set you up for a very high risk of brain damage if you should continue with it.

i can't get benzos and alcohol has never made me pass out, even after 20 shots. i think the seizure would be better.
except for the waiting part.
and also, if i was totally drunk in a pool, they would kick me out from there

Is there any way you could avoid having to ctb altogether? I am very sick any don't have many cognitive/mental resources to support/help, but still feel free to message me or the regulars in the recovery sections..

I can't speak to the solution to the problem, but I can pretty confidently speak to the problem:

Timing + waking up + other unforeseen circumstances which limit the reliability of this method.

Also if you're including drowning in a pool (I presume?) I'm confused: wouldn't having a seizure in a pool also lead to them responding?

Either way: back to the drawing board I'd say. There's plenty of more reliable methods I would say.

Check out the PPH or methods section.

And I tell everyone this, but please deliberate thoroughly (benefits AND risks) + emotional and/or spiritual processing, and hopefully speak to somebody you trust about complex emotions. Therapy is wonderful too.

You can still chose to ctb even after talking to people you trust. If you've already done all that though or supports aren't available, then yeah, maybe start looking into SN or read up on methods.

Hope this is remotely helpful ❤️
