People say suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. But I have a chip on my shoulder that I can never get rid of. I don't see what other option I have.

Same for me, a couple big chips which I can't let go of.... So absolutely toxic, it's terrible. I don't see any option for myself either, sorry you are having to deal with this.

That pro life statement about suicide literally doesn't reflect the reality of this existence. Only those who are completely ignorant and are blinded by their delusional beliefs say things like that.
As long as we exist we will never be free from problems and of course life itself is the true problem, at least it is for me so of course only death could be the solution then, and to die solves everything anyway, that is undeniable. But I hope that you eventually find freedom from your situation as it certainly can be so awful feeling trapped here in an existence not worth enduring.
